“We have seen our impact and our reach grow in recent years, and Laura’s experience will help us to increase our footprint across the golf world and beyond as we seek to spread our message”

— Brendon Pyle, Golf Foundation CEO

The Golf Foundation has welcomed Laura Baker as a new Advisor to its Marketing Sub-Committee, bringing more than a decade of global experience across communications, partnerships, events and commercial strategy.

Baker will support the Foundation’s marketing team and Marketing Sub-Committee as it continues to grow the reach and impact of its work, helping more young people experience the benefits of golf.

She currently works in Commercial Strategy at the Ladies European Tour (LET), identifying and developing strategic opportunities with new and existing partners to drive commercial growth.

Prior to this, Baker spent a year as Interim Head of Communications & Marketing at the LET, leading activity across a year-round calendar of almost 50 international tournaments across the LET and LET Access Series.

She previously spent nearly seven years at IMG, working across major sport and entertainment properties including the Solheim Cup, AIG Women’s Open, Wimbledon, Roland-Garros, Paris 2024, Rugby World Cup, UFC and the Giro d’Italia.

Baker said: “Alongside my role at the Ladies European Tour, I’m really excited to be joining the Golf Foundation team as an Advisor.

“It’s so great to see the work they’ve already done through programmes like Unleash Your Drive, GolfSixes League and Eagles for Education, helping more young people get into golf and making the game more accessible, diverse and inclusive.

“I’m really looking forward to working with the team, supporting new projects and building on the momentum they’ve already created.”

Golf Foundation CEO Brendon Pyle added: “We are really pleased Laura has agreed to join us and help support our marketing output at such an important time for the Foundation. We have seen our impact and our reach grow in recent years, and Laura’s experience will help us to increase our footprint across the golf world and beyond as we seek to spread our message.”
