Bring Golf to Your School Games!

Looking to deliver an exciting and inclusive sports festival or competition? The Golf Foundation has developed fun, engaging golf formats for both primary and secondary schools, perfect for your School Games calendar!

For primary schools, we offer the 8-Game Golf Skills Festival and the GolfSixes Mini League, designed to introduce pupils to the game in a dynamic, team-based format. For secondary schools, the GolfSixes Mini League continues to build on those skills in a competitive, yet accessible environment.

These formats are easy to run, and no previous golf experience is needed! Check out our introduction video below to see how golf can make your next School Games event a success.

We piloted our new formats in Christchurch and Isle of Purbeck, under SGO Dan Moody, and recorded a webinar with him that outline the key changes and the benefits to the pupils and schools.  You can watch the webinar below where you can also scan a QR code to be in a chance of winning some new Golfway equipment to help deliver your golf events.

After updating our formats for the start of the academic year for both primary and secondary, the new toolkit is your one-stop resource for all the associated scorecards and resources to run these events, including our new mental toughness tool integrations.

We also have new certificates for children to take home after a golf festival.

The Golf Foundation can support you with:

  • Inclusive formats for Primary and Secondary Schools

  • Golf Skills Festival or GolfSixes Mini League

  • Include Mental Toughness Tools supporting mental health and wellbeing

  • Easy to follow guides for SGO’s, Teachers and Young People

  • Training for leaders

  • Club links

  • And more…

Let's get started — we're here to help you bring golf to your students!
