Unleash Your Drive In Schools

Unleash Your Drive is a comprehensive six-week programme for schools that uses the fun of golf to teach vital life skills. It's designed to introduce children from all backgrounds to the game while equipping them with nine proven mental toughness tools to help them build confidence, resilience, and boost their overall mental wellbeing
The programme is designed to be delivered easily by any teacher over a six-week period. The Golf Foundation provides a complete support package, including:
- Easy-to-follow resources (both printed and digital).
- Free online training for teachers and activators.
- A specially adapted and safe Golfway equipment kit.
- A built-in evaluation system to measure the positive impact on pupils.
Throughout the fun, game-based golf lessons, children are introduced to the nine mental toughness tools, learning skills that help them handle challenges both on the course and in their everyday lives.
Yes! There are several ways to bring "Unleash Your Drive" to your community.
- For Schools: The primary way to get involved is to register your school. The process is simple: express your interest online, complete an agreement, and we will provide the training and resources to get you started.
- For Coaches & External Providers: If you are a PGA coach, Community Golf Instructor, or a coaching company that works in schools, we have a dedicated pathway for you to become an accredited delivery partner.
- For Corporate Supporters: There are fantastic opportunities to sponsor the programme and help us deliver it to even more schools.

GolfSixes League

GolfSixes League is a fun, fast, and friendly team-based golf competition for junior players, run at local golf clubs across the country. It’s the perfect first step for young golfers who are ready to play on the course, providing the excitement of representing their club in a relaxed, sociable, and low-pressure team environment. The focus is on fun, making friends, and building a lifelong love for the game.
The format is specifically designed to be inclusive and build confidence. Here’s a quick breakdown:
- Team Format: Clubs create a squad of junior players who then compete in pairs.
- Six-Hole Matches: As the name suggests, matches are played over six shortened holes, keeping the game fast-paced and engaging.
- Texas Scramble: The pairs play a "Texas Scramble," where the best shot from the two players is chosen for the next shot. This takes the pressure off any single player and encourages teamwork.
- League Structure: Local clubs form a league and play fixtures against each other throughout the season, earning points for their team just like in a football league.
