We are taking part in the Christmas Challenge 2021 to raise £4,000 in just one week, starting tomorrow! These funds will be used directly for a special project helping children from different backgrounds to thrive through golf. Can you support us?
The project will bring golf to a community that will really benefit from our support. Working closely with a PGA Professional at a local golf facility, youngsters from area schools and/or community groups will discover golf for the first time. (An example of this work can be seen in the short film above about our charity’s involvement with the ‘Bring it on Brum’ summer holiday activity scheme in Birmingham)
Fun and inclusive golf sessions will first be provided to young people in their familiar environment. Follow-on golf learning will then be given by the PGA Professional at the local golf venue to provide continuity, while breaking down the barriers to youngsters enjoying a golf facility.
The project will culminate with an inter-school/club festival played in a lively competitive format. All the youngsters can socialise and make friendships while discovering key elements and benefits of golf as a team sport, including learning valuable life skills.
Donations to this project will be generously matched by our supporters, and our Big Give Champion The Reed Foundation, during the campaign. This means your money can support twice as many children and young people. One donation, twice the impact!
This year we’re looking to raise a total of £4,000 in one week. In order to access the £2,000 we have in our matching pot, we need to raise £2,000 in online donations. This all starts tomorrow! We hope everyone will give generously this Christmas to help us reach our target and help us to carry on the work we all feel so passionately about.

● Visit our Big Give campaign page and make a donation from 12pm (midday) on #GivingTuesday (30th November). The campaign will close at 12pm on Tuesday 7th December when your donation will be doubled!
