From today, our charity the Golf Foundation has a new name on Twitter – @golffoundation
We have moved from @GolfRootsHQ on Twitter. All our followers will automatically move with us but don’t forget to tag us in to your great posts using our new handle @golffoundation. We don’t want to miss your tweets!
Our new name is a better fit for who we are, the national charity that offers life changing opportunities to young people using the power of golf.
If you are already a follower, you will see a few Tweets from us at @golffoundation over the coming days on this name change. We would love it if you could give us a retweet to spread the word.
If you don’t follow us yet on Twitter, this is your perfect chance to keep up with all our work to help more youngsters to ‘Start, Learn and Stay’ in golf.
Find our team across social media at The Golf Foundation on Facebook, @the_golf_foundation on Instagram, and The Golf Foundation on Linkedin.
Look out over the next fortnight for two key announcements on supporting local projects which are helping to make golf more inclusive. The first will flag up our HSBC Golf Roots ‘PLUS’ funding opportunities for community educational/social/health projects, which wish to introduce the life skills benefits of golf to young people (find out more here.)
The second involves recent positive steps our team has taken to empower PGA coaches and volunteers with innovative new coaching resources for young people across a range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Get a first glimpse at what’s on offer to help inspire more youngsters to enjoy the game by visiting our Disability page.
