Junior Captain at The Leicestershire has the drive to succeed

We’re delighted to report that tomorrow at The Leicestershire Golf Club, Ollie Tutt, Club Junior Captain, is organising a fun golf day to raise funds for the Golf Foundation and our work to help change lives through golf for youngsters from all backgrounds.

Ollie, 16 (pictured), has put in loads of work for a day that promises great entertainment for all. A special Stableford competition of 18 holes for older kids, 9 holes for younger and a ‘flag 50’ for the little ones, nearest-the-flag-in-2, one-club challenge, and skills challenges galore for all the family and a raffle. Nice touch to be able to buy ‘5 throws of the ball’ to get you out of trouble!

Ollie has been helped by sister Amelie, and they have both been working hard in the build-up, including raising funds through a club-cleaning service for members, which has been very popular!

Mum Lisa says: “Ollie has led the whole project so well, and with Amelie helping they have been brilliant and the members have supported their hard work, we can’t wait for tomorrow. There is an appreciation of the Golf Foundation’s work here at the club because we have really enjoyed staging Girls Golf Rocks events and we were involved from the start of the fun of GolfSixes League. Junior golf is really celebrated at The Leicestershire and that is great for the future.”

Any golfers who wish to help Ollie’s fundraising can go to our donations page now.
