2019 Sinclair Award – Iain Fulton

Presented to a PGA Professional who, as a direct result of his/her efforts, has made a significant impact in the development of grass roots junior golf. The winner received an ETIQUS golfer’s watch kindly donated by Gary Butler.

Iain Fulton PGA Professional at Belton Woods has made a significant impact in the development of grass roots junior golf in 2018. One of the first coaches to join the HSBC Golf Roots Coaches network, Iain has delivered StreetGolf and Tri-Golf to many local schools, and worked with Grantham FE College to offer golf activity to disabled students. Under Iain’s guidance Belton Woods has incorporated numerous Golf Foundation initiatives such as the Box of Tricks into the club’s offer. More recently he has worked with Girlguiding UK to encourage more girls into the sport and delivered Girls Golf Rocks activity and ambassador training. Iain has been instrumental in developing junior golf in South Lincolnshire and 2018 saw a 75% increase in active junior members at Belton Woods GC.
