Golf is Open for Kids
In the week that should have been the 149th Open Championship, our #GolfisOpenforKids digital media campaign aims to inspire more boys, girls and families brand new to golf with a series of fun activities for all abilities, while also keeping established juniors enthused, playing and loving their golf together.
We have themed activities that children can enjoy at home with their families, at school with their teachers and friends, or at their local junior-friendly HSBC Golf Roots Centre. You can also:
- Take part in our 'Design your own adventure golf course/hole competition’ and win a special prize!
Create your own adventure golf hole: on video or photo in the garden or indoors (showing your layout or playing hole), or as a diagram on paper, or as a model. Watch the example below and then let your imagination go wild and send/post videos or pictures on our social media, or email email@example.com
We will select one entry to receive a prize! (A Home Tri-Golf Kit and Tri-Golf umbrella.)
- Head over to @golf_foundation_org on Instagram to take part in our The Open players' quiz and follow the week's activities at @GolfRootsHQ on Twitter @TheGolfFoundation Facebook.
