The Golf Foundation has created a new geographical map of its Regional Development Officers’ (RDOs) activity to offer improved support for all our friends in golf.
We know that golf can change the lives of young people and that’s why we have our team of seven highly committed RDOs in England who can support schools, community groups and golf clubs as we work together to introduce more young people to golf, from all backgrounds, creating golfers.
Championing junior golfers
This team of Daisy Brierley, Ian Harvey, Mike Hollis, Andy Leigh, Alice Lowe, Stacey McNicholas and Tom Sparks share a wealth of experience in helping all our partners to encourage kids of all abilities to enjoy the physical and mental health benefits of golf.
Our RDOs have the knowledge and expertise to help schools offer golf to their pupils in a safe, fun and inspiring way, and to assist golf clubs to grow their junior sections successfully, retaining young golfers and often transforming the atmosphere throughout the club.
The RDOs each cover a geographical region of England and these seven regions have now been altered slightly to improve their ability to cover the areas with maximum benefit. This may affect your area so we suggest you just check the new regional map.
Our RDO team looks forward to working with you in 2022!
