Captain of Crews Hill flies flag for the juniors

A recent Captain of Crews Hill Golf Club raised significant funds for the Golf Foundation through his Captain’s Charity and also supported mental health charity MIND

It was a “fabulous gesture” from Rob McHugh and all the members at Crews Hill Golf Club, in Greater London. Rob, the Men’s Captain for 2019-2020, nominated the Golf Foundation as his chosen charity in the year, raising £1,290 to support our work to change the lives of young people through the power of golf.

Rob shared the donation with our charity, MIND and the club’s own junior section: creating a double benefit for young golfers while backing an excellent mental health charity.

There are three excellent ways your golf club can support the Golf Foundation: you can find out which way suits you here

Vanessa said: “We can’t thank Rob enough for this fabulous gesture. Raising funds through the Captain’s Charity gives a club plenty of options, including sharing their donation between a leading health charity and giving back to the game, as Rob has done here. We will spend every penny of this donation wisely in our national programmes that then feed into our network of clubs on a local level.”
